Description :
As informed by the official notification of Assam Police Recruitment 2023, an applicant is asked to apply for the position of Driver Constable in Assam Police. In accordance with the official notification of Assam Police Recruitment 2023, there are a total of 654 open seats for the aforementioned position. The shortlisted candidates will be paid in the range of Rs. 14000 to Rs.60500 (Pay Band No. 2), with a grade pay of Rs. 5600 and other allowances as permitted by the rules. Physical Standard Tests (PST), Physical Efficiency Tests (PET), Driving Tests (Skill Tests), and Written Tests will be used to determine the successful candidates. As per the official notification of Assam Police Recruitment 2023, willing and desirous applicants have to apply online mode through the official website of SLPRB on or before the deadline.
Eligibility Criteria :
The upper age limit for applying for the position of Driver Constable should be 18 to 25 years as of 01-01-2023, with a 05-year relaxation for SC, ST (P), and ST (H) applicants and a 3-year relaxation for OBC/MOBC candidates. The candidates should have HSLC or equivalent examination passed by a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV MMV or HMV. The candidates must be Indian Citizens and permanent residents of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit Proof of Residence after publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates. The candidates must register their name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam. The candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
Other Information :
Referring to the official notification of Assam Police Recruitment 2023, appointees shall be asked to sign an agreement under which they will be obligated to serve for a minimum of 03 years after being posted or be reimbursed for the cost of training and travel expenses paid by the government.
